Death:
Burial:

Parents:
Father: DAVID DICKISON

...........................................................................

Michael and Rachel were members of St. Patrick's Church, Deer Creek Twp. Oklahoma County, OK
From Edmond Historical Society:
"book in research library on the St. Patrick's Catholic Church -
listed Michael and Rachael as members. In 1921 it listed Mrs. R. Feeney as a member."

She (they) came to America abt. 1862 from England.
She sewed shirts for the Union Army during during Civil War.
In 1914 she was struck in the temple by a stray bullet in Edmond, Oklahoma.
The source of the shot was never learned. She survived the injury.
She was 71 years of age at the time.
There is reportedly a newspaper article at a later date about the incident .
(date of article might be: MAY 28 1925)
There is a discrepancy on Rachel's date of birth.
Her death certificate shows February 2, 1838 as her d.o.b.
Funeral home records do not indicate a date of birth for her.
T.P. McAuliff "informant" provided information for the death certificate.
He is a grandson "by marriage".
His first wife (died 1921) was granddaughter of Michael and Rachel.
Rachel's last address(on death certificate) was same as that of McAuliff.
There is possibility that: Rachael went into St. Anthoney's hospital in OK
city in 1922 stayed there till she died in 1928. Placed there by her daughter Jarlath (a Nun)
1870 census Mineral, Bureau County, IL
1880 census Lincoln Pct., Colfax County, NE
1900 1910 and 1920 census Deer Creek Twp., Oklahoma County, OK
